KSU College Pictures !!!

Random thoughts ... !!!

Well I am gearing myself for my next 12 weeks of hectic travel, starting from the next week. I am going to Paris Fr,Rome Italy,Bucharest RO as part of International Residency program organized by my MBA school. Coming back I going to Canada for nearly two months for the solution rollout.

Ever since I landed in US i have been travelling all over US every week and now International travel .I like travelling especially when it gives all the amazing feeling and experience which you could only possibly imagine sitting before the laptop.

NRI Indian international travelling challenge: what is that...well before I pack bags by checking the weather on each country ,I need to sit with all the invitation letters, copiers ,passport photos, travel agent, travel insurance, medical insurance, bank statements, travellers checks to get the visa. i have been running behind romanian ,schengen and canada consulates for the past 14 weeks to ensure i am ready for the next 12 weeks.ofcourse all these paper work takes your brain .

My International Residency Program :The key objectives of this program are

Gain knowledge of common business practices in alternative economies.
Develop “decision-based” analysis and presentation skills in an international business management setting.
Experience learning in a “virtual” and collaborative work environment.
Establish an international personal peer network.
Apply state-of-the-art collaboration application technologies as a user.

Below are my Romanian team members
Horatiu,Cosmin,Ramona & Mirela

I am excited to meet them and experience the next 6 months in doing the project with them. After my American Teaming experience ,It would be interesting to see how the events turnout with Romanian Experience for next 6 months.
All the students from here are planning for few gifts for Romanian students, well i couldnt think of anything for them yet.Hopefully I find something in next two days before leaving to Paris.if you have any ideas for gifts ,please do add it to the comment section.May be i will gift the Romanian students when they visit American around Jan.

Out of 44 students in my class,I am the only indian and the only one who needed visa for all the countries.i envy my american class mates,as they dont have to think abt the visa for the first 90 days for these countries. They all planned the whole trip in the last 2 weeks while I have to go through roller coaster ride for 16 weeks to get here.Being NRI is turning out to be bigger challenge then i always imagined.

Well i checked out on weather for Paris and Rome, guess what the forecast shows "rain". :) .I have seen the future and somehow i hoping the universe to ensure I have amazing vacation. This program has already denied my all plans to visit India this year and I hope nature has some mercy on the opportunity cost went towards this whole vacation plan.

The following are the few sightseeing arrangements i have made myself

sshh ... soo soo ... hoo hoo...aisch !!!

A man feared his wife wasn't hearing as well as she used to and he thought she might need a hearing aid. Not quite sure how to approach her, he called the family Doctor to discuss the problem. The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the Doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.

Here's what you do," said the Doctor, "stand about 40 feet away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking tone see if she hears you. If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response."

That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the den.

He says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens." Then in a normal tone he asks, 'Honey, what's for dinner?" No response.

So the husband moves to closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, "Honey, what's for dinner?" Still he got no response.

Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his wife and asks, Honey, what's for dinner?" Again he gets no response so;

He walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away. "Honey, what's for dinner?"
Again there is no response. So he walks right up behind her.

"Honey, what's for dinner?" "Honey, for the FIFTH time I've said, CHICKEN!"

Lesson from the story:

Problem may not be with the other one as we always think, could be very much within us..! So don't always blame others for the thing that you may lack.

Hav fun !!!

Life...Little Innovations For Emotions

I love reading lists of things to do before you die, but after reading several of these lists, I’ve realized that each list is a very personal thing. It can only apply to the writer of the list, and not to all human beings in general. No such list can do that.

And think about this: if you’re trying to follow a list of things to do before you die … trying to check things off the list, just to say you’ve done it … what’s the point, really? To be able to tell people you’ve done it? To follow the life prescription of some writer?

I won’t try to tell you what to do before you die … but I will suggest some questions to figure out how to live … right now. Each and every day.

Because you never know how much time you have left, and trying to cram a list of things into that unknown time can be futile. Instead, live every day to the fullest. Get the most out of life.

1. Who do I love, and what am I doing about it? When someone dies , you realize that you never know how much time you have with the people you love. They can go at any time — as can you. And so you must make the most of this time.

If you aren’t spending time with the people you love, change that. If you are holding a grudge against a family member, let it go and reconcile. If you’ve done something to hurt a loved one, ask for forgiveness. Drop the pride, and make up. If you haven’t seen someone in awhile, call them now to set up a date.

2. Am I pursuing my dream, or is fear stopping me? What have you always wanted to do? Maybe something you dreamed of as a child but have given up as unrealistic? Maybe something you still want to do but are afraid of failing? What fears are stopping you? And what would be the worst that could happen if you overcame those fears and pursued your dream?

If you’re already pursuing your dream, pat yourself on the back. You’re doing awesome!

3. Am I doing something that matters? There’s a difference between doing work, and doing work that really matters. Much of the time, we use up the few days we have on this earth with busy-work, stuff that doesn’t make much difference, and that’s sadly a waste of our lives.

4. What am I doing to help others? Kind of ironically, you get the most out of life not just by taking what you can for yourself, but by giving to others. What have you done lately to help people out? Have you been kind to people? Have you been compassionate? Have you been there for anyone? Listened? Volunteered for those in need? If you’re not doing anything to help others, this is a good time to figure out one thing you can do for someone, and put it into action. Ask this question on a regular basis, and you’ll make kindness a habit.

5. Am I as good a person as I want to be? I ask this of myself all the time. Sometimes, when I’m impatient or selfish or less-than-helpful, I think back on what I’ve said and done and realize that I could have done better. Instead of beating myself up about it, I endeavor to try harder, to remember to allow my better angels to guide me, to rise above the trivialities of life to a higher plane.

It’s not easy to be a good person, at least not all of the time. It’s easier to be selfish, without thinking about it. But is that how you want to be remembered? Is that how you want to live your life? Give it some thought, and act accordingly.

6. What am I doing to live life with passion, health and energy? You can do all the right things, and yet live a life that’s dull and sluggish. If you let your health go, you will have little energy and you will waste the minutes you have left on illness. Instead, learn to live a healthy life, with good foods and exercise. This will lead to more energy in your life. And then direct that energy into something you’re passionate about. If you haven’t found that passion (or passions), start looking. You’ll thank me. :)

Finally few words...

Always believe that you and your fellow citizens deserve the best from you.Inspire you and others to innovate and transform the way they all deserved to be.
